Filling treatment is a treatment method used to loosen and reduce wrinkles on the skin that occur with ageing and to fill the pits on the face. The fillers used in the filling treatment have no medical harm.

As the skin is moistened with filing treatment, the water retention capacity of the skin increases. Thus, the skin maintains its moist state for longer and  wrinkles are loosened and reduced as much as possible.

Anesthesia is usually not needed in the filling treatment performed by injecting fillers into the skin and the treatment lasts 30 minutes on average. Patients can return to their normal lives shortly after the filling treatment which should be performed by specialist physicians.

Filling treatment applied to remove wrinkles under eyes, forehead lines and wrinkles in the corners of the lips is also applied to achieve a fuller appearance of the lips. During treatment, the patient does not feel any pain.

Very short-term swelling and rash may be seen in the area where the treatment is applied after filling treatment. Patients should keep their skin away from sunlight and extreme cold for at least two days after filling treatment.
