Unless there is a significant change in the level of male hormone, beard and mustache hairs become thicker and take their final complete forms within a few years following puberty. The texture and quality of hair, beard, and mustache are completely genetic.
The loss of beard and mustache may be due to autoimmune disorders related to hormone levels changes or skin diseases. A skin disease called Alopecia Areata can also cause hair loss.
Until today, there is no medical or cosmetic treatment to regrow the lost hair or to stop its loss, therefor transplantation remains the only solution.
Hair transplantation with HQ-Graft FUE technique consists of filling in the empty area. It is based on the transfer of healthy hair follicles (grafts) from the nape area to the beardless area.Master-Aesthetic and its contracted clinics offer you the most preferred and latest transplant technique in the world performed by the hands of specialized doctors and their teams.
Transplantation process
- The haired area between two ears is shaved,
- Firstly, the transplantation area is determined and photos are taken,
- The area is anesthetized by local anesthesia,
- Canals are opened in the empty areas of the beard / moustache / sideburns,
- The nape region is anesthetized by local anesthesia,
- Graft removal process starts according to the number of the opened canals,
- Two and three root bearing grafts are separated,
- Single root-bearing grafts are transplanted into the opened canals.
To be considered during transplantation;
- First of all, implantation areas should be detected,
- The canals should be opened at an even frequency with existing hairs on the area,
- Opened canals should be in the same direction and angle of existing hairs, so that the beard-mustache-sideburn implanted hair wont be different from the rest,
- All of the implanted follicles should carry a single root,
After the transplantation;
- Both donor area (nape) and recipient area will appear red and wounded by the end of the process,
- No swelling or pain should be felt,
- Within 24-36 hours after the procedure, both the recipient area and the donor area are dabbed with lotion, then washed with the recommended shampoo after about 1 hour,
- This washing process is repeated for 15 days,
- In about 4-5 days the wounds will close, they will totally recover within 10-12 days,
- During this time, the hair strands that appear will break and fall out,
- The roots begin to appear gradually within 3-4 months and the full growth process is completed in about 1 year.
EYEBROW TRANSPLANT

- It is unfortunately not possible to regrow eyebrows or stop their loss with cosmetics or medication.
- There is no permanent alternative to eyebrows loss other than transplantation.
- With this procedure, the solution of eyebrow loss is provided permanently and is carried out without any discrimination between men and women. Lifetime eyebrows continue to grow and look as similar to your own eyebrows.
In HQ-Graft FUE eyebrow transplant, the hair follicles are removed individually from the back of the head without an incision or suture. There is no scar left after the process.
Hair follicles are used in HQ-Graft FUE eyebrow and eyelash transplant. In the back of the head, they are taken from the area near the neck, between the two ears. In this region, there are especially single-stranded delicate hair roots, which are perfect for natural eyebrow and eyelash result.
What should be considered in eyebrow and eyelash transplant with HQ-Graft FUE Method?
- Eyebrow transplant requires much more care and attention than hair transplantation. The first thing to do is to choose an experienced professional center capable of doing this.
- Eyebrows are different from hair in many aspects. The eyebrows come out much more flattened to the skin than the hair. Their direction is more steep in the inner parts near the nose and horizontally towards the outsides. Also, eyebrows usually consist of single-stranded roots.
- Eyebrow transplantation requires the selection of single-stranded hair follicles. This is possible with HQ-Graft FUE eyebrow transplant.
- The single-stranded hair follicles are placed into the micro-canals which are meticulously opened on the skin in order to prevent traces. When opening the canals, the pre-determined eyebrow shape shouldn’t be altered. Particular attention should be paid to the direction of the existing eyebrows and the outlet angles.
- Before the operation, the new shape of eyebrows is decided by the patient with the doctor’s recommendations. Eyebrow transplantation is performed by local anesthesia which is applied to the recipient area on the eyebrows and/or eyelashes and the donor area. It takes 1-2 hours and it is possible to return to daily life immediately after the procedure.
- There is no shower restriction. Redness and crusting occurs for a few days after the procedure. The implanted area heals in 5-7 days.
Can eyebrow transplantation be made in order to thicken the eyebrow?
Eyebrow transplantation is not only performed on people who suffer from eyebrow hair loss. It is possible to thicken the eyebrows with eyebrow transplantation in people who find their eyebrows thin and want to change their shape. Permanent makeup is not an alternative to eyebrow transplantation because of it’s fake look. The result of the eyebrow transplantation is completely natural.
Is the result of the eyebrow transplantation permanent?
